The past week we have been doing a presentation we had to change the word said because I think it is boring why don't we use a different word. I had made a cool word art here is a picture.

in math we have been learning about directions. we had to make an 8 by 8 grid and then we had to put numbers and letters from  a to h and 1 to 8 and i have some photo's of my grid and the grid we used to pretend to be robot's.

the roblox adventures

The roblox adventure’s . One day in roblox a noob was near a place to buy a house. He buys a small little shack near the airport. He goes to eat dinner and he sees on TV that he can win. A free ticket to go the magical sand desert. He calls them right away and sees if he can win. The next day he got a call telling him he won he got the ticket given to him. He drives to the airport and he lines up and waits for his plane when it arrive he runs straight to it the plane takes off an hour later he hears the pilot yelling “we're going down we're going down” than hour he wakes up and builds a hut out of lose stick and leaves he gets more leaves and piles them up on the ground in his hut to make a bed he saw someone in the distance he shouted “HELP!” the pro come over their and said “what” noob said “can you help me survive” the pro nodded his head and started building after 4 days of building they made a house with everything they need they used coconuts as food and water then they go back to noobs house they were best friends that's the end of the roblox adventures. pencil spin stop motion

this afternoon we were to make stop motions and I made my pencil spin. i found it easy to make it. next time to make it more challenging i'm going to make to pencil spin.

Going on a bear hunt

In maths we are learning about directions we listened to the story were going on a bear hunt. We picked out the obstacles in the story. We then had to draw a map of the story.We had to carefully had to think about remembering the order of the obstacles. Then we had to write directions from the house to the cave. We had to use north east south west.

Straw raft's

In inquiry we are learning about the design process. The design process is where you plan, design and test a product or theory. Sometimes when you test it , it doesn't work and you have to start at the beginning again to see how you would make it better. Mrs mcg gave us a challenge. We had to plan,design+build a straw raft to float with 50g of weight on it. we could only use on meter of masking tape. Our raft failed 0 times because with left some holes for air to get and we did some research about how rafts float and found that there need to be no holes. We found the challenge easy, we found the designing part challenging because i'm not good at designing stuff.     

oink and cluck

Today we did an activity called "Oink and Cluck." We had to find out how many different ways to work out how many pigs and chickens there were on the road. My group me and Brody we used jelly beans. It was a bit hard but i think we got the hang of it. It was a bit easy but I tried to help Brody. Here is the work we did.

Pigeon Impossible

In literacy today we watched a little movie called pigeon impossible. The movie was about a very mysterious pigeon who tried to to steal a bagel . Walter, The secret agent needed to complete his mission. He stopped the explosion of the rocket but it didn't exactly end how he wanted it to. We had four choice's to pick from. They was A wanted poster, a new paper report, a other mission for Walter and a comic strip. I chose a wanted poster. I had to write about the pigeon in the movie that died in the end. I found writing hard. I found creating my picture easy.

lipogram

today i'm writing we used a picture prompt to create a lipogram. A lipogram is a sentence a lipogram is a sentence without using one particular letter we had to write one interesting sentence describing the picture without using the letter i i found this easy to do the sentence. i found  the picture to get hard. i found Challenging  doing the sentence.

   

Hockey

today we had peter from Canterbury Hockey visit us. In we were learning about dribbling and dodge.
First we did dribbling. we had imagine the ball was stuck to the hockey stick by super glue. After that we learnt how to stop and dodge other players. we had to control the ball at all times. lastly we played a game like rob the nest. we had to steal. 
I found dodging hard. I found dribbling easy. I learnt how to play rob the nest hockey version.
