Instructions:
¾ fill a petri dish with water.
Carefully place 4 differently colored skittles evenly spaced around the outside of the petri dish.

Observations
What things did you notice? Can you make five observations?
the yellow did not pass the red
the colors did not mix until you shake it
the warm water melts the color
with cold water it would go a lot slower
the sugar dissolve and the colors diffuse
Did anything surprise you? What weren’t you expecting to observe?
some of the color did not appear in the water as the did out of the water

This is a great blog Treyvon. You have made some great observations. I bet you didn't realise the colour from the skittles would behave in such a way.
